At Breakwater Academy, our D&T curriculum allows students to build up skills of design, making and evaluating to produce appealing and useful products for a range of target markets and purposes within bi - termly D&T weeks.
Students will apply these skills and build upon their knowledge of mechanisms, structures, textiles and electrical systems, as well as key designers from ethnically diverse communities.
Students have the opportunity to apply their scientific and computing knowledge into different projects, reflecting the wide use of media and technology in contemporary design innovations.
